Charity Ride in aid of Sharon Micallef

Fradal Maltin, the local club for Super Cub (Muturi tal-Fardal) enthusiasts contacted us asking if we’d like to participate in a charity ride in aid of Sharon Micallef, a midwife at Mater Dei.

Sharon will soon be undergoing a very serious operation involving aortic valve and root replacement. The operation will take place in St Bart’s Hospital, London. Following the procedure, she will need a few weeks of recovery in London and will face a longer recovery period afterwards, here in Malta. She won’t be able to work for at least 3 months. Her close family have decided to organise this fund-raising event which all proceeds will be used to support Sharon during this very challenging moment.

The ride, organised on the 30 August 2022, left from PAMA, Mosta and finished at Mulino Café, Ħal-Safi where Fradal Maltin prepared a fun evening with free food, a raffle and plenty of gifts to be won, all in aid of this noble cause.
